The Garuda Wings

Collected Works in Tibetan Studies [bod rig pa'I zhib 'jug mkha' lding gshog zung], Kathmandu: Vajra Publications (2009)
This book is the result of years of research on Tibetan religion and culture. It addresses the urgent need for unbiased research into polemical writings about the Bon religion. The book includes detailed notes on the historical origins of the Tibetans as a people. It also included a biography of treasure-master Dechen Lingpa, considered to be a reincarnation of Vairotsana. Finally, the book covers a study of the practice of making offerings to mountain spirits [mdos dang glud] based on a review of the Khalong Sangdos documents. Scholars of international renown, including professors Charles Ramble (Oxford University), Samten G. Karmay (CNRS), Katsumi Mimaki (Kyoto University) and Chogyal Namkhai Norbu have endorsed the author’s work.
